One yummy idea

The monkeys are having the time of their life playing with Ms. Carlee. She is the perfect combo of your best friend, a sister, a mind reader, a science teacher, a fashion consultant, a warm cup of tea, a baby whisperer, an adult child... I could keep going on and on. You get the idea, we adore this woman. Everyday she has a new adventure for the monkeys. The other day, it was yummy Frozen yogurt cereal fruit happy snack. That was a long name...

Frozen Yogurt Fruit Bites

Ingredients:
- Fresh fruit
- bamboo skewers
- favorite cereal
- greek yogurt (or any kid of yogurt) I personally prefer the sweeter kinds
- plastic bag
- chocolate spread

What I love about these projects
- She explains the steps, but the monkeys are in charge
- there is no right or wrong way of doing things
- I get to hear all the stories about the process, then taste and enjoying what they make

C washed all the fruit. Decided on a pattern and assembled the skewers. They covered some fruit with Yogurt, and then mashed cereal. They had the yummy idea of covering bananas with chocolate spread. At the end, all the fruit went in the freezer on a tray. After it froze C sorted the different kinds on plastic bags. Science, math, chemistry, language, all packed in a fun hour long activity.

Perfect for a hot summer morning snack. Try it out. I hope you enjoy!
